PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
One of the main advantages of PET FARE is that it contains no preservatives, being totally natural, but this can work against you if the product is not handled according to the easy hints below.
Always keep PET FARE in the refrigerator (IE between 2 & 4°C)
DO NOT refrigerate for more than 7 days after delivery.
PET FARE required to last longer than 7 days should ON RECEIPT be divided into MEAL SIZE portions, wrapped and frozen to be defrosted on a daily basis as needed.
DO NOT freeze in larger than meal size portions.
For ease of handling, PET FARE will drop out of the container after gently kneading the container and can then simply be cut into portions.
As with any fresh food PET FARE should NEVER be frozen, defrosted and re-frozen nor left in your pet's dish for long periods (particularly on hot days).
Dogs generally do not 'go off' PET FARE. Usually where this has occurred, the problem has been traced back to poor storage or handling.
Some cats may decide that they want a change. Do not despair! After a few days of change, most will again accept PET FARE readily.
PET FARE is made under strictly controlled conditions and comes to you direct from our coolrooms in refrigerated transport to ensure maximum freshness.
